About Fishguard :

This is a friendly and quiet seaside town and one of the sunniest places in Britain with a low crime rate. The Goodwick part has beautiful beaches with a ferry to Ireland. It is located in the middle of the Pembrokshire Coast National Park, a convenient stop on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path National Trail between Newport and Pwll Deri Celtic. Unlike other towns it's not become a "tourist town", with crowds and high prices; it's a real town with real culture. The area is far enough from the cities to remain uncrowded and unspoilt.

Includes:

  • Special walker's buses,
  • free internet,
  • 2 supermarkets,
  • cinema/theatre,
  • pubs, restaurants,
  • last invasion tapestry 1797,
  • Folk Festival Music Festival.
  • Lower Fishguard part has a quaint harbour, the village that served as the celluloid Llareggub in the blockbuster 1971 movie of Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood and Moby Dick film set.

"Feels like a real place , full of real people and with a very appealing, mellow culture fused from it's Irish and Welsh influences." Mike Parker
